NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby join the Allegheny-Fayette Central Labor Council in honoring victims of workplace injury and illness and to keep fighting for the promise of safe jobs for all workers; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare April 28, 2024 to be “Workers Memorial Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
