NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend the work of Alina’s Light in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month; and, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend the work of Alina’s Light in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and applauds the unwavering dedication of her family and supporters in transforming personal tragedy into a powerful movement for change; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, October 7, 2025 to be “Alina’s Light Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
