NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Christy Porter for her unwavering dedication, visionary leadership, and extraordinary service in creating spaces where individuals with special needs can receive the guidance, support, and care they deserve; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Monday, December 8, 2025 to be “Christy Porter Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
