AdoptedWHEREAS, since its founding in 1888, Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania (BGCWPA) has activated and advanced the potential of youth and placed them on a path toward great futures. BGCWPA’s programming offers young people the opportunity to cultivate skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) that will lead to family-sustaining careers in emerging fields, participate in the arts and express themselves creatively, learn and play sports, boost their self- esteem, academic abilities, and professional skills, and build courage and positive values; and,
