Proclamation2023-1977
AdoptedNOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and honor the one-year commemoration of Mahsa Amini’s death in solidarity with the Iranian community within and beyond the borders of Pittsburgh, and the Greater Pittsburgh community. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare September 16, 2023, to be “Mahsa Amini Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
