NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh honors Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, its staff, and the countless residents who, through their support, ensure that libraries continue to thrive as inclusive and essential institutions for generations to come. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the month of September, as “Love Your Library Month” in the City of Pittsburgh.
