Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to apply for a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Blight Remediation Program to study City owned vacant lots in the Homewood Neighborhood. The grant proposal includes an ask of $25,000.00 with a local match of $2,500.00 to come out of the City of Pittsburgh’s 2020 Operating Budget. In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ($27,500.00) dollars for this stated purpose.
