Resolution authorizing the Mayor, Director of the Department of Public Safety, and the Chief of Police, on the behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a grant agreement with the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) to receive monies from the 2021 Byrne Justice Assistance Grant Program and further authorizing legitimate expenditures by the Bureau of Police, for purchases authorized by the Grant Agreement and for the execution of agreement(s), or contract(s) for any equipment or services required in connection with the execution of said grant. Said agreement(s) or contract(s) shall not exceed EIGHTY-EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS ($88,000).
